Sam Steeb replied to Dronez's discussion 6-7 Hour Flight time over ocean - some questions
"I'd like to know about the off the shelf combination that could realize 2-3hour flights. I was not aware of anything that even made one hour without being a glider. "

Sam Steeb replied to Nathan Rae's discussion Multicopter Based Delivery Systems: Any existing projects?
"Sure, this is what I would expect. Money is what is driving UAVs into being legal, public and politics are afraid of it. Government and university's are on a short list of groups with big money and influence. The UAV market is a…"

Sam Steeb replied to Dronez's discussion 6-7 Hour Flight time over ocean - some questions

"This is an awesome idea.  Something similar has been implemented before (or at least prototyped): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rK61Q0crRGo It would be cool to see it done with APM though.  Imagine an autonomous scorpion :)"
