"Hexacopter will give you more redundancy, if you build it as a Y6, otherwise, a normal octocopter will give you redundancy. 1,5 or 2m is huge, we normally are in regions where 90cm motor 2 motor is pretty large.II'd say forget one hour…"

Guys and gals (I assume),I am interested in builting a quadra or hexa-copter for use in our industry (emergency services).The questions I have are:1. Can I use standard components, but bigger batteries and motors to build a bigger copter? I am looking to lift cameras, achieve maximum stability and longer flying times (up to as close to one hour as possible). Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
