Mating a APM2.5 with a Microhard N920 and flying with a tablet PC

I'm trying to put the APM2.5 with a Microhard n920 (modem) so that I can fly the quad only with the ground station on a tablet PC, without an RC controller.Has anyone done this before? Or help me…Continue

"okay, I understand. You fly using your remote and control all the good stuff with your pad. So not just "without an RC controller"? Look on ebay for an Atom tablet. Just recently I found them for 70$. They should be fast enough and…"

"With just altitude adjust, Return-to-home, and auto landing functions coupled with waypoints. Wouldn't that be safe enough. Similar to the Aeryon scout."
