In response to your chat room question about any Calgarians...
I'm 6 hours north of you.
(actually I was born in Calgary but moved to Edmonton, and now High Praire)

I found two other Albertan FPV/UAV'ers at RCGroups, but hadn't asked around here at DIYDrones.

Sure not flying weather here today!

Man, that is a coincidence...I am assembling it right now.

I want a single motor as well, but all my previous gas(nitro) models over the years had a lot of vibration, so I worry about having an AP onboard so I am opting for the Align 600XL in the rear.

I would like to replace the front fairing soon, but I found that the chin mounted ball cam will work with the existing fairing with a cutout and the front facing camera fits in the existing rairing as well.

I haven't done much work on my FPVs or the new Cessna337 lately since I am having eye trouble and going for surgery in a few weeks.
(actually my eyesight is the reason I got into FPV since I rekitted a couple models when I became disoriented during downwind turn...)

I had been having a very similiar conversation on Doug Barnett's Wall.
(and got a little confused as to who asked what questions)

I talked a lot about the Cessna and my plans and updates.

Click over to his page or see my history to follow that thread.

I will post photos after my eye surgery and recoup.

No, sorry, no planes for sale.

I will keep my two EasyStars for FPV work and use the Cessna 337 for UAV.

My only other models are my unfinshed NorthStar and my Senior Falcon (in too many pieces to fly, but I haven't given up hope of rebuilding it)

I also still keep souveniers of all the other models I have re-kitted over the years.

Todays announcement from Jordi is fantastic news.

I bought the first 3 Ardupilots when they came out and I was at the head of the line for the two GPS models, and bought the last 3 XY and Z sensors from FMA, but I think I will wait for Jordi to come out with the plug n play IMU Ardupilot version. Todays IMU is a stand alone kit not yet ported to the Ardupilot.
I am a Technical Analyst during the day, but I can't write code worth shit!

Tenzin,
