Hi guysDecided to abandon and sell my APM 2.0 mega purple on the Xaircraft X650 frame with gimbalI had it all tweaked so RTL and position hold were acceptable but after a couple of updates I never got round to tweaking it again and now I decided to try I let the planner do an update now it won't run because the .net 4 framework won't install on my laptop so I have no APM planner software that I can use and I can't be bothered (more into planes now)Anyway, here's a vid or two of when I had it…See More

"Damn, thought I'd solved that, it seems that adding the extra weight is placing the motors/props under so much more stress that they're vibrating (the tiny vibes without the weight are exagerated with the weight/stress)   I think…"

"Well my alt hold was far better out in an open field In my garden although the blue light showed a 3D fix the logs showed that the GPS location was jumping around by about 2m In the field it was much better However, having added about 300g it…"

"Thanks Peter Very good point regarding using the 2.0 in the plane etc I may well adopt that idea immediately as I have no problem with my plane GPS being 10m out as long as it's not more than 50m :)   Cheers"

"I have my APM 2.5 mounted on one (not yet flown) as I bought one to replace my RVOSD G5 on my Super Skysurfer   It should work fine as long as you make sure to have plenty of slack in any cable going to the APM (an "S" bend in each…"
