"Looking good Jani!  Is it recommended to use an  opto-isolated ESC or one with a built-in BEC now?  I've been building an octo and haven't decided myself.  http://www.hobbywing.com/product_show.asp?id=199"

Thomas Gregg replied to Tony H's discussion Turnigy 9x VS Hobby King 7x
"I second the Turnigy 9x (or the FS-TH9x which is the same). A company named FlySky is the original factory. HobbyKing rebrands this as the Turnigy 9x. The only difference other than color and label is HobbyKing places the antenna in the traditional…"

"What have people been doing to use the jDrones PDB on an octocopter?  Hooking two ESCs straight to the APM2?  I'm curious as to which ESCs are being used and if they have a BEC as well."

Thanks for the kind words, Tony.
I use the renderer that comes with Solidworks 2010.
Luxology developed it for them based on the Modo render engine.
If you don't have Solidworks, you can use Modo to render your CAD files.
