"Yes Sir indeed, sounds like you'r heavier than you thought you were...:((( Get a Good scale... I don't know how you can build these without it unless your just putting together kits with pre-selected components or something!! Figure…"
"A good scale is invaluable.... If you don't know the true take off weight it makes things difficult for sure... More weight certainly would cause this issue the same as a smaller prop by accident... If your able to see current draw then…"
"PWM isn't the issue no less efficient power wise there (maybe a little laggy compared to sbus communication per say but fine none the less).... 27amps at your nom voltage of 11.1 is 299.7watts/4motors which is only 74.925 watts/motor... I…"
"I used ecalc very closely in conjunction with my measly little xls file.. I agree with Harry, in that, that source may be easier to understand and use.. I don't think its gonna tell you anything different though in regard to your issue with…"
"I would not agree with the under-powered statements, the symptoms yes but the causes you guys are giving the poster here don't jive IMO, and I'd forget the 12 inch prop no motor in that size that I can think of has the cooling for the…"
Large drone (700mm Hex) pitched positively just about at the ground (12inchs ish...) during an autonomous landing. I think, I can see in the logs where it tried to correct but did not physically do so.. I believe I can see also where I tried to give manual land reposition commands to it via the tx and again it was unresponsive, it held its rearward tilt until impact and rolled after an emergency shutoff.. What I want to know is what happened... Why did it pitch? I am thinking mechanical…See More
