"I finally "gave up" trying to get my plane to climb effectively.  It throttles up and will literally push the nose down to below horizon and oversheed it's target airspeed by quite a margin.  It's like it is hell bent…"

"Hey,  about the re-leveling, don´t think that it would help too much, because in FBW mode, the plane pitches up enough. So the problem can´t be the pitch limit."

"Where can I set the target Airspeed? Because i set the Cruise Speed in the config to ~35kmh, at horizontal flight it is 35, but during climbling its increasing to 50-60kmh"

Tuning the Climbrate of APM

Hello, last weekend i was adjusting the PIDs of my new X8 Wing. Everything is fine, execpt of the climb rate.I tried to set the max Pitch angles in FBW first, that worked fine. Then, in AUTO mode, i set a high waypoint, APM set throttle up, increased airspeed, but didn´t pitched up enough.I tried to variate Nav Pitch AS pid, Nav Pitch Alt pid, Energy/Alt pid, but without too much effect.Could you tell me the correct vaules to increase the rate of climb?See More
