Optical Flow with traditional Heli

Normally I use my APM2 with my MAYA Drone but now i will test him with a Helicopter.Does the optical flow Sensor works out of the box with ther traditional HELI?best regardsMichaelContinue

"Chris, it does seem to be normal.  I don't know why it's like that, but I can say that it doesn't appear to affect flight in any way."

"Same Problem on my new APM 2.0. acro and stabilize.   The feedback from the gyros seems to be super nice and responsive, but control inputs only seem to get updated at about 4Hz. Is this normal?"

"i have the laggy servos as well   and cannot see a way to reverse the collective it all looks right from my radio but if i goto auto the collective pitch is reversed   lol"

HelloI have a problem with my APM 2560.In all modes the servos working very good with inputs of the APM.That means when i move the helicopter the servos working very good,but wenn i move the sticks on my remote the response to my inpust is very laggy.it seems like only 2 or 3 stickpositions beeing calculated and given to the servos per second!?also while steering the inputs resulting from helicopter movement are good and smooth.maybe someone has an idea wats going wrongFOXXYSee More

"I've never used Helicommand.  There's more heli people on this thread.  I think it's better and worse.  Stabilize is better than flying with helicommand I think but the optical flow thing in helicommand is more…"

"It's nearly all the same code, the quad and the heli..but we've been having memory problems though which have held the heli back a few versions so the heli code in the mission planner doesn't have optical flow implemented. …"

"I've used it on my helicopter but I wouldn't say it works out of the box.  I've never gotten it to be as stable as it has been for the quad.  Theoretically it's just tuning but I can't guarantee it just…"
