Hi guys,I'm new to arduimu and IMU's in general and am wondering how to make Arduimu print gyro rate information in deg/sec? I can print the Euler angles and get another arduino to read that data.…Continue

I have two APM 2.0's that will not upload firmware. In MP 1.2.53 when I select a firmware to upload (doesn't matter which one) The firmware update process hangs on "reading hex file" at about 85…Continue

Gyro Rate Data question

Hi guys,I'm new to arduimu and IMU's in general and am wondering how to make Arduimu print gyro rate information in deg/sec? I can print the Euler angles and get another arduino to read that data. Should I just print the analog data and parse the first 3 fields? Is that data going to have error in it when my eventual aircraft is maneuvering? Thanks!TedSee More

FPV Camera Mount

Posted on April 18, 2013 at 8:44pm 4 Comments

I can't be the only one who has had some trouble coming up with a good way to mount an FPV camera on their quad. So I designed a simple snap together mount that I would like to share! This thing presses together and glues to your frame with some hot glue. It weighs 5 grams. I designed it with universal (should…

EPP FPV Wing Project

Posted on October 24, 2012 at 8:19pm 18 Comments

I have designed my own flying wing and had it cut from flyingfoam. I would love the input of some of the members of DIYDRONES. The span is 60", I chose an MH60 airfoil and added about 2 deg washout. I cutout the motor mount and servo mounts on my CNC router.…

I haven't bought the apm 2.5+ board yet, because I was afraid that it won't work well with the epp fpv. ;) Maybe I'll order it within the next days. Hopefully the navigation is working well because I live in an alpine area and a navigation failure will lead to an unrecoverable plane.. :P cheers
