Working with APM codebase

Hello,I am making some changes to the APM code for personal use. My goal is to allow complete control of ArduCopter over mavlink, without an R/C controller, for personal use. So far I've just been digging through Arducopter.ino, etc trying to figure out what is going on. Is there any documentation or guides as to how the codebase is structured? Thanks!See More

"Sorry,  But I think the codebase has finally outgrown the 1280. You could try and disable the CLI or Mavlink. Jason"
