The fact i prefer not to use them in parellel is because of the xt60 plugs.
They are rated at only at 60A so i am afraid that it might catch fire.

Not sure why you don't just parallel the two batteries. …"

"I had a short in my wiring that would crop up during flight from time to time... it was a stray RC signal wire that shorted to the APM."

"Check the wiring on your RC receiver. It looks like it cuts out completely twice. Green is altitude, red is throttle in and I circled the signal loss area in blue.

"This sounds like a radio failsafe event. Your receiver may have lost radio contact for a moment, and it's default behavior is to lower the throttle to 0.
