PID tuning for 12" instead of 10" props

Started this discussion. Last reply by Owen Booth Aug 29, 2011. 7 Replies

In general, what direction would PIDs be tuned when moving from 10x4.7" to 12x4.7" props on a mostly-standard ArduCopter?  When putting together my current FPV rig I found that I got more stable…Continue

"This is awesome.  Wanted to check, I have a couple different ISPs (AVR_ISP2.0 from a KKmulti rig, an Atmel ISP, and an Adafruit TinyISP).  Is it possible to use any of these to program the MinimOSD or do I need yet another cable?…"

"Just so I don't misunderstand, then, that's just a power pass-through to the camera, the OSD draws its power from the 5v rail of the telemetry port?  Thanks for taking the time to answer, by the way, I appreciate it."

"question re: power for the minimOSD:  My video Tx passes 5v to my camera.  Does the MinimOSD require 12v between camera and Tx or will it take 5v on that line as well?  I think my camera can do either but the wiring harness is a lot…"

MAVLINK errors on one PC only

So as of yesterday I am unable to make a MAVLINK connection through my telemetry gear, but only on my laptop.  When I hit connect (yes, port and baud rate are right, CLI switch is in the flight position) the connection window immediately disappears without counting down a timeout or displaying the "get parameters" screen.  About 15-30 seconds later I get the following error message: System.ArguementException: offset and length were out of bounds for the array or count is greater than the number…See More

"Yes, you're right--that would have fixed it. Sounds like something got fried on that APM board. If you've got an AVR programmer you can try reloading the bootloader."
