Stryker with Atto IMU flight over lake.

I added rudders to the Stryker and added a good amount of D term on yaw. Seemed to make a huge difference. I will keep tuning to see how good we can get it.

ArduCopter meets Wii

Here is an ArduPilotMega coupled with a WII IMU and displayed on the ArduCopter Configuration screen.
This will be inexpensive Quad control.
Add Ping sonar - GPS and dang....a full autonomous quad that takes off, goes to altitude, flies to point A,B,C,Home and then auto-lands !
It is soooo...close to being real for a very low price

I got interested in aviation via this website, and I'm thinking of becoming a pilot myself in an ultralight of some sort. I was intrigued by powered parachutes. Basically, you have a fan, a parachute (similar to para-gliders) and shift weight around to steer. You go at a nearly constant speed of 25 mph. Successful ground station communication field test today

I have a lot of work still to do adding graphic controls and mission planning via GSM/google. Both board options have an oboard SD card, both support touch screens, both run at 100mhz from a 5 volt supply.
