First aerial mapping trial
After a few months of trial and error, I finally figure out the basic of aerial mapping. Blessed with good weather two days ago, I took out my Skywalker 1900, APM 2 equip with Canon S100 to a near by oil palm estate own by a friend. The Skywalker with my current param track extremely well even in strong cross wind condition.

UAS Build, Airframe HK FPV 168
Well I just recieved my FPV 168 from HK.com. The only damage I was able to spot from shipping was the tip of a horizontal stab. Here are my plans for the build.
I want to have a pan and tilt camera hanging on the underside of the fuselage. I bought the pan and tilt system from ServoCity. I got 2 continues rotation servos. My second payload will be a 12 mega pixel still camera to take pictures of the ground for mapping.

Testing the GoPro 2
Ive been doing some testing with the new GoPro2 HD video camera. I bought it out of necessity after loosing my GoPro HD in flight :( But, having the HD jump ship was a blessing in disguise, because the new GP2 boasts some impressive features.
