At least he's finally doing something closer to his education.  Would be surprising if 3D Robotics paid for the same lifestyle that Wired did.

From what I have seen 3DR is doing very well, 7+ mill is not shabby at all

Here's a snapshot of Chris' new office in the Berkeley Hills. The rooftop FPV antenna array is impressive, but the best part is the private BART station in the basement from whence he can commute to Chavez Park and supervise APM beta testing.

Thanks Mark! I'll be opening the Bay Area offices of 3DR, to go with San Diego engineering and Tijuana production. Should be ramping up by the end of the month, after I wind down my Wired duties. Stay tuned for more news next week regarding funding. This is going to be big ;-)
