We've written about this before, but I'm not sure everyone's seen the video. It's a really impressive production process. No doubt heavier than foam and possibly balsa, but that will improve over time with new materials.

I'm pretty sure that's not the case with any invention. Typically, the reason for inventing something is to make widgets cheaper or faster....that's the whole point. In this case, they are trying to make something that serves a purpose beautifully and turn it into something else it's not suited to do.
That's not the machine's fault, nor is it the inventors. The problem here is with the end-user.
