Using two gyros and a PID controller in custom hardware, this bipedal robot stabilizes itself as it rides around on its bike.
(in Japanese, but Google Translate provides something reasonably understandable.
I'd say, "yes!"... if you think about it, an aircraft is just an "abstract" robot with servos and other electronics scattered about.

Very impressive. It holds up the bike with one leg, and then lifts it transitioning into forward motion. Very impressive.
