nope, they are not entries... but I bet you he is working on something for us as we speak... ;)

Grips seems like he is doing some kind of intro so I guess he is working on a shot to win...

I wonder how many are just working on it in silence to surprise us with a MEGA production???

Robert, I hope you will show us what you can do!

can I participate?... hehe I guess I can post a video but not win... Too bad my GoPro is dead (long story for another day!) Maybe I will get something going...

Do you play poker, Dany? :-)

Hey again guys. These videos were not done for this compitition, but why could the first behind the scenes video not be accepted ? Just because the slight blurred effect around the edges ? That is a personal taste. If my videos are not 'allowed' I accept the challenge :) we are building a new rig this month, and will try, if time allows, to do a full 'doccy' on it, build, settings, pid, testing, flight, actuall video from it etc, all using APM1...

Stay tuned, and may the battle begin ;)

Lol Hi Duran ...I like it !

there is nothing wrong with the first video but this compition is about showcasing the most of APM modes and functions as possible. so the idea would be to get RTL, Auto ,Alt hold that stuff in the video.

but looking forward to yours

Yeah the behind the scenes one is quite good!  It shows your frame in it's "real' environment.

But like Johann said we want to really show the other modes and features.

We also need a good shot at your specs... need to see that it is really an APM powered craft.  And extra points to show your version used, PID settings and highlight your specs (size, weight, motors, ... etc... )

Nothing stops you from just adding these shots to the previous video! Or shoot brand new one, it's all up to you.

We just want to spice up the APM powered craft visibility around the world!

Impress us and you will inspire others.

Dany, I might try to make something, but no promises.  Maybe a video of a 6 year old flying a 600 Heli in stabilize mode would be a good demonstration. ;)

Duran, no reason you couldn't enter your video if you want to.

The whole point and the concept of this competition is to show what can be done & how you did it, and no doubt there is a very high standard of production work and overall presentation from Duran, however as pointed out above this is a mixture of disciplines where a showcase of the features and functions with a good overall video will take the top spot!

So if you have tuned, prepped and pimped your ArduPilot to deliver a video showing a large range of the features packed in to the APM, you are in the running for top spot, technical use of the APM is just as important as the final cut which you post. :)

@ Robert, that sounds like a great idea!

I also hope someone shows us the "fence" mode on the APM in action! My thought here was like an arcade game / video, resetting ready to go again when it hits the "wall" ….. :-)

Regards

Martin.
