Comment by Seth on March 27, 2012 at 4:04pm I've purchased several slip rings from that eBay seller and they work really well- can't beat the price either.
Comment by Yusuf Pirgali on March 28, 2012 at 2:03am Hi, Looks really cool, a little too fast if anything, as i would get dizzy looking through the camera on the ground :-)
How are you hoping to get this to work remotely?
Comment by Matt H on March 28, 2012 at 9:50am I'm definitely going to need to use exponential settings to help reduce the problem of the camera zooming around.
I'll be operationalizing it like any other pan/tilt configuration on a plane (whether X8 or Skywalker). I'm still struggling with the idea of making this retractable, or having retractable landing gears. (I want it to be on the bottom)
