Looking at his icons, it seems like he is using VMWare. I use Parallels 7 on my Mac, and I use VMware on PC. Overall I enjoy Parallels tenfold over VMWare, but VMware is better if you plan to move your virtual machines across PCs quite often (as I hadn't tested the parallels for windows, wmware just has more support). I've had a few wierd issues with using full screen mode and Matlab gui's that could be solved by exiting full screen and going back, but besides that Parallels works flawless.

@Veikko: Ryan is correct, I'm using VMWare.  I use VMWare for some other things (linux development), so it was convenient to use VMWare for this as well.  I think both it and Parallels are fine ways to run the planner on a mac.  I haven't tried virtualbox, but I have some friends that run graphics-intensive games with bootcamp, so I think that would work well also.

@John, I haven't done a lot of comparison, but the signal seems to be strong for my LOS flying so far.
