Spent some time in the Alps with a friend. Lots of hiking and lots of flying.
Does anyone else like me much prefer these videos to the batch of techno music videos they've recently put out.
Nope! California coast video with the drum and bass mix is still the best for me!!!
I think the only thing we can do at this point to please everyone is keep on mixing it up :) tastes are very different among our audience :)
I'm just one of those people who never liked techno :)
I think the kinda of "giddy optimism and joy of exploration" that your original stuff combined with the strange German music was really the best stuff so far. Like "chicken or black sheep". Those are the ones I show people when I show them what I do. Not that the collaboration has been a bad thing I'm sure from a monetary prospective. I just never got into the USA road trip videos at all.
I prefer the post-video slanging match by the armchair lawyers and the society of indignant control freaks. That's much more entertaining...!
David M Eno, not sure what you mean with "from a monetary perspective". We don't make money off our videos. Logos are in exchange for equipment which we desperately need otherwise we can't continue to make these videos (on average one video costs about $500 to make)
Andrew Rabbitt, if it helps this was done about 5 miles from an active private airport and it's a very much frequented route for paragliders :)
I thought you guys were letting some other guys process your footage. These guys ---> (http://www.aufmschlau.ch). Either way, I liked the original stuff better. So the the professional processing is volunteer.
Most part is volunteered, yes. But we pay him also of our own pockets. Primarily because we don't have the time to edit up all this footage, and also because always the same kind of editing would be boring ;)
Trappy, you should come to Canada, and fly around Banff National Park. It's bigger than the Alps, and you'll see a lot of mountain goats, and bears. No sheep, though.
