Well, somebody put a lot of work into that video in any case.

Or rather they had some fun throwing together a load of stock geometry without needing to worry much about whether it'd make sense, be possible to build or actually fly.

(I see a Predator drone chassis and a lot of other bits of stock geometry)

+1 on the video production quality.

Perhaps there should be a category on DIYDrones for best performance?

Oh wait, that should go to the Dutchman with the flapping wing video.

At least with this conceptual vapor-ware, it could be built and function. At what price?

As usual concept animations make everything look great. But in the real world, 12 motors and coaxial is going to be very inefficient. Remember each motor/propeller you add increases the inefficiency, and working in the downdraft of another propeller makes it even worse. You want fever and bigger propellers for a more efficient setup with longer flight times.

it does what most concept are supposed to do. get attention to the company who did it.

Will it pass ASTM F-38 muster and testing at the proposed DHS stations?

Less power used to drive it between waypoints, then pop up take the shot land and drive to the next?
