First issue of AUVSI's Unmanned Systems magazine -- 30 years ago! -- now free online

AUVSI has released the very first issues of their magazine, Unmanned Systems, from 1982 (!!) for reading online or on your iPad. The tone was much more military in those days but otherwise it's interesting how little has changed (see below). It's free. Read it here.

Downloading! wow nothing changed much in 30 years... I guess until recently things were quite harder to do, lack of CPU/Memory power and network grid / GPS not as great as today... Plus all the nice new sensors that came from the rapid evolution of the smart phones.

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
