I know you've all heard of the easy star but what do you think of these? Are any of these any good? I picked them because they look decent but don't cost as much as the easystar for starting off with plain old flying [drone comes next]. If you know about any of them or any better ones please comment! Thanks!

well thats 3 channel equipment ok for rc but not for a UAV. You will need 6 Channel transmitter and receiver so the one that comes with the plane will be of no use. You will want a lipo and brushless motor.

if your just starting out try and find rc flying field most have clubs with good equipment suited to learn on with training buddy boxes and willing helpful instructors no equipment to buy they will get you trained the right way
