Comment by Dimitri on November 7, 2011 at 2:31am Great ! But i will prefer mount where i can put the gopro waterproof case
Comment by gm on November 7, 2011 at 2:37am Yeah, I'd like to have the case on the GoPro as well. If the lens gets broken in a crash, it's just replacing the outer lens, not the whole camera.
Also the skeleton case has open sides for plugging in cables, so it's still useful in a case.

You can mount that waterproof case to this mount if you want. We have been flying with this mount and with open camera.. Done few bad crashes too without any damage to the camera itself. But sure if you have safety case around camera it will be even more safer.
Easiest way to mount your GoPro waterproof case is just by adding 2-side tape on the back panel and then stick it on the main camera panel.
Comment by gm on November 7, 2011 at 4:13am I'd love to see a much simpler mount that just uses the GoPro mount point bolt...
Comment by Kirill on November 7, 2011 at 7:49am Finally!
Jani, as I understood, such kind of mount won't be released?

Kirill, yes that other type will be released too. We just had great tests with that one and I hope that we can release that in week or so..

Looks cool, are you going to be releasing the design files for this camera mounts so we can modify to fit other cameras as not all of us have a go pro :(
Comment by Kirill on November 7, 2011 at 11:52am It's not easy to decide which one is better, moreover this one also allows to mount camera with housing.
Comment by Kevin Bouchard on November 7, 2011 at 11:59am Hah! Cool, I was just looking at the prospects of using a GoPro for FPV.
