In the end of the video proper landing was not shown, did it crash ?

:))))) no, it did not crash... the GoPro card got full :(
The frame is the same from the start of ArduCopter project :))
in trying to fly it crazy as i can in stable mode to see if the APM will lose it, but as you see it keeps the AC in the air :) the only problem is the throttle is a bit "lazy" and it needs some PID tuning, ill try it again tomorow ...

what landing struts are you using and how did you mount them to the arducopter frame?
