Nice. I just got Aftereffects 5.5 installed and I was playing with the Warp Stabilizer. It does magical things to footage shot from copters from what I've tried. I'll be on vacation next week doing a lot of filming and I plan on testing a lot of camera stabilization.
this is using arducopter 2.0.28?
This was shot on 30 june 2011 so must be a verry ancient version.
what editing software are you using for the video it looks great
Dont know what SW was used to make the final product. It was done by a prof. company.
the raw footage was great also i mut add i love the opening with the guys hitting balls as it fly's over, very nice work
As a director of aerial filming may I make a small suggestion. It is nice to see the copters shadow from a modelers perspective but in a pro production it is a no no and it can't be used. You always want to shoot with the sun behind you but keep your shadow just out of shot. Post stab. is ok for vimeo etc. but raw footage stabilization has to be much better for serious work and flown much slower. Post stab does not work well on blurred pixels.
Have a good break, I am so pleased that you are taking an interest in this important line of development.
