D-Dalus - an entirely new genre of aircraft.

I find these kind of radical designs really exciting. I found it on Gizmag

The spinning "fan-wing" idea isn't new, but I believe this is the first quad.

that saying is more about human nature then real Statistical data. 

 

Good looking aircraft don't fly better it's just easier to get uninformed people to spend money on good/normal looking aircraft. This is why you see more oddball looking airplane designs as they chase more efficiency and preformance.

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
