DIY Drones Google Plus community growing nicely

At Gary Mortimer's suggestion, we last week started a DIY Drones community on Google Plus, which has grown nicely and is now at more than 500 members. If you use Google Plus, you'll find this an easy to way to integrate drone news and discussion into your stream. We'll be posting highlights from DIYD, as well as others on Google Plus can share and post their own drone news and discussion.

Looks like we're the largest robotics community on Google +, a week after launch. Can that be right? Where are all our robotics bretheren? (cue Google Plus ghost town jokes)

Well OpenRobotics was keeping up now I see DIYD has blown past. What about a group on LinkedIn as well? Of course everyone here could be members of the sUAS News ones, everything and multi rotor operators (this live from the shameless plug department)

Google + is still not very friendly they need to start picking more of the useful bits of normal forums and adding them.

Being able to add more pictures in a thread for instance.
