APM is able to handle Space Shuttle. The question is who will give his head if it crashes with new firmware.

Not to say it is probable. Once chance in a million. Would you like to see it planted on somebody's house, or do you understand the autopilot that much that you can thrust it.

Very nice. Yes it will :-)

Diego, please post more information and pictures about your platform if you don't mind, it looks awesome! Is this purpose built for any particular job or just for fun?

Krzysztof, i don´t understand your point, i believe in APM being as stable as other platforms, please let me know if i am wrong.....

This airframe was designed and constructed by us, in fact we want to use it for the 2012 UAV outback challenge competition....

Jeff, i will post more info when the airframe is ready and in the air....

I am glad you all like it......... it is a developing proyect...

yeah that looks great plane.

Sure APM can handle it. Like Krzysztof said it can handle even "Space shuttle". APM is just an electronic that wiggles servoes according flight modes and gyroes/accelerometers etc. More bigger question would be how and from where you find strong enough servoes to run that beast. Also power supply for the servoes needs to really good.

APM is stable but still it does not have backup flight controller if first fails. Also if user makes mistake it will crash... I know I just crashed my Skywalker due my own mistake on settings.

So keep your full manual switch close by just in case.. That saved me from major crash. And as Skywalker is EPO material it only took a bit of Glue to fix it and some tape.. But yours would make nice hole on ground already.

Any estimates on flight times etc??

diego, That is an excellent looking aircraft. I would bet you buit it for search and rescue at sea.

Kryzsztof, cut him some slack. I would beet he's not doing agriculture pics over populated areas.
