Goggles enable interaction with floating display!

Could be fun to see and control fpv screen and apm screen and other input at the same time ?

A Taiwan-based nonprofit R&D organization announced Wednesday a virtual display that allows users to control virtual keyboards and touchscreens that float out in front of users.

The Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) said its new technology uses special glasses and DDDR (defined distance with defined range) camera technology to allow users to see and interact with virtual data, images and devices with finger strokes. Full article here: Floating Display

  • That DDDR camera tech is cool! It would be interesting to mix it it with some AR tech like CastAR and throw it all into a Google Glass form factor.

I'm still waiting for a nice HD single eye HUD for flying both LOS or FPV. Something like this would give a good way to interact with anything in the HUD.
