Comment by Greg Fletcher on December 18, 2012 at 11:24pm Is that a carbon frame? Will that mess with the antenna math people?
Comment by Jake Wells on December 18, 2012 at 11:36pm At Greg, it's Fiberglass not Carbon. But yeah if it was carbon some funky stuff would go down.
Comment by Jake Wells on December 18, 2012 at 11:37pm In his captions he confirms it, "In order to make this antenna as though as possible I decided to make the the coil support extend over the edge of the edge of the reflector plate. Cut from 1.5mm G10 fiberglass on my CNC machine."
Very nice repackaging and lines. Reminds of Ben Heck's work.

Comment by Peter Meister on December 19, 2012 at 5:36pm David is a true artist, his designs are simplistic, straight to the point and they work terrific. This is a very nice ground station indeed! Great work David!
