We have a monthly autonomous car hack/race day at a funky old warehouse in Oakland, but in-between races the teams need to training their neural networks. How? With this simulator!

Some of us are not lucky enough to have a real robot or a real warehouse to test in. But it's fun to dream.
Here's a shot of my run on a virtual track that was inspired by the bay area sd meetup.
The training was done on about 15gb of image steering pairs. The training set was first trained without the final track for about 85% of the way. The final course was available for the last 15%. On each training run I included a large variety of turns, lighting conditions, and concrete coloration.
