Have you got a 9x or JR Tx want to upgrde to DSM2 AIRMOD with AR7010 JR-Compatible

I am sick of wifi interference in fact i want to fly with a wifi module for telemetry RN-XV WiFly Module - SMA Connector . Spectrum will be building this upgrade to JR radios for May release $100 . The only radio I have owned that I have never had wifi issues with is spectrum. But i think there radios are way over priced. I think most radios are overpriced considering the 30 year old technology the are using. Pre order yours today from your local horizon dealer

What exactly are they upgrading to this module? They have had this for quite some time for all the modular systems but they had recently stopped production for a short time.

THAT WHAT THE DEALER TOLD ME? But the last time I saw this kind of thing for sale the cost was $325 USD so the price is new :)

Generally, the module systems that came with an AR7000 were $109.99 for the Futaba modules. Can't say for JR as I haven't owned one before it's been about this price for a while.

Wow I got the same issues/concerns over reliability, range and interference...

But instead of going to your selection of product I went to FrSky modules...

I now stock them as they are so great.  you take your Turnigy 9X and turn it into a BEAST of radio even with downlink telemetry for cheap.

Sorry for the shameless plug but really I am at the same step as you are and found this to be best for the buck.

FrSky got great reviews this one for example:

Anyhow, what ever you select make sure you redo a range check and config!

will telemetry work on stock 9X? I am aware of that but Frsky has one big issue LOL... you must be careful when selecting a Rx Tx pair they do not all work together :(. I bout a pair lat year for testing & messed up the selection selected the wrong combo. After researching on the frsky website I realized the error was mine.  I can get you a better price on your 9X for sure Danny? & do you stock the back light cause I want one free shipping?)

For the 9X you need the JR module

http://www.canadadrones.com/FRSKY-DJT-JR-TRANSMITER-TELEMETRY-MODUL...

The telemetry works on what ever Radio as they use external LCD. If you want to use internal one you are in for a firmware change and I did not play that much with it! :)

Everyone can get better price on 9X.. but when you factor the shipping charges, duty fees, waiting time (2-3 months at the moment) and the fact that I do open and inspect the 9X units I am getting and only sells the ones that works! You will understand that my prices needs to be like that. This is not a product that I do profit but I need to offer it for customers that want to buy all from one source/order.

I get around 3 units per months at the moment and I have back light in stock (white one)

For shipping this fits nicely in a padded envelop so you only pay $3.50 for shipping.

I think I will get the back light from you ! But seriusly I deal with FlySky 9x & no problems so far only 2 weeks wait. I can definetly hook you up on a hole sale price.

It seems the best way to get the 9X these days is eBay.  At ~$110 shipped it doesn't come out that much more than the HobbyKing price once you factor in the shipping cost.  Search for the "Flysky 9X."  It's the same transmitter.  I had the email alerts and I still could never get one from HK.

I haven't pulled the trigger on eBay yet as I've taken a hiatus to get my car debt knocked out...
