The smallest computer to run Linux? I think this has a LOT of potential..all the sites selling it are down due to traffic volume...

Comment by bGatti on March 1, 2012 at 9:36am Maybe the cheapest - but my phone is smaller and runs linux; I believe gumstix have held the smallest linux title for several years.
Comment by Jay on March 1, 2012 at 10:31am Woot I got one!

@Jay how much does it weigh ?
Comment by Jay on March 1, 2012 at 2:02pm Not sure...mine won't be here for a couple months per Newark/Element14.

The Raspberry PI is more about price and reasonable amount of computational power, then smallest possible size. For a bit more money you can get much more power with a smaller form factor. Granted you will need a interface board if you need normal HDMI, USB, ethernet connectors etc.
Comment by Machinery Max on March 6, 2012 at 2:21am looking forward to try it as wifi fpv video +osd +telemetry +control tx/rx. and who knows what else) 3G control and transmission maybe. it could also play video recorder during flight to an hdmi-tv directly
