What is MAAXX Europe?
MAAXX challenges competitors to design, build and race autonomous drones against each other. The rules are simple, follow the marked track as quickly as possible with your aircraft fitting in a 1X1X1m cube, and make sure the drone can race by itself. You can either build your own drone, or take part in our Hackathon using a DJI Spark.
The event is on March 23-24th, held at the University of the West of England in Bristol.

What's up for grabs?
There are four prizes up for grabs this year:
- Speed prize - Fastest 10 consecutive laps
- Endurance prize - Most laps completed through the event
- Hackathon Cup - Fastest 10 consecutive laps completed using our Hackathon DJI Spark
- Kudos prize - Coolest team as nominated by the other teams
