Hi Folks, I've been working on sonar for a few weeks and I made 6 landings yesterday as shown in the Video above.
The detailed specification of the Maxbotix MB1230 is here.
The processing of the Sonar information to do some simple filterering is done here.
The Logo Flight plan is shown here.
Best wishes, Pete

Hi Peter,
Very nice work. Congratulations to you and Ben Levitt. I thank you both very much for all you have done.
I can see that sonar is very useful where you fly, its the only way, short of a detailed elevation model, that you can account for rolling hills. I guees I have been spoiled, all my landing fields are flat and level.
For anyone who would like more information, here is a link to the MatrixPilot website, and here is a link to the instructions for using its LOGO flight language.
Best regards,
Bill Premerlani

Hi Rana,
It is no longer possible to upload files do DIYDrones, only pictures. I have uploaded the raw log, and a fully analyzed spreadsheet (as shown in the picture) via theuavdevboard Google Groups discussion on this subject. I look forward to your comments.
