I wanted to share the integration i have done  in my jdrones Quad.

On the dome i have the Mediatek GPS.

On the first deck, the FrSky Receiver, 1.2 Ghz Video Transmiter and Xbee Telemetry

On the second deck, MinimOSD, APM 2.5 and jD-IOBoard.

The setup includes sonar and Battery monitor in one on the legs.

Each arm has a led strip driven by the JD-IOBoard

The weight with a 3S5000 Lipo is still below 1.5Kg and so far I have got 15 minutes of flight time.

  • I would suggest replacing those plastic mounts with the 'anti-vibration' mounts, they seem a little pricey, but they are soo much easier on the motors in a hard landing!   I found with my j-drones hexa that in a hard landing the metal screw would bend and strip the threads from the motor, and the plastic mount would break.  the anti vibration mounts use all metal screws and the rubber grommets have more than enough give to prevent important things from breaking!
