New 3DR boxes are in!
One of our priorities as 3D Robotics grows is to improve the customer experience in everything from product design and documentation to packaging. You'll see a bunch of new efforts in this direction over the next few months, ranging from a branding/design overhaul of the storefront to a new platform for our documentation that should be easier to use and better looking than the current wiki. We're also going to start shipping APM in a professionally designed enclosure, which we'll preview next week.
Here's just one small example: our new boxes! I think this is the first public use of our new logo, too. We particularly like the Easter egg of the rudder replacing the dot of the i ;-)

Pretty nice logo, and basic black box, But hope it doesn't add to your operating costs, and thus increase prices. :-)
I wouldn't mind if you shipped in a shoe box. Wait, I think that's what my APM1 came in.

Nice, now you should start including some logo stickers with orders.
They are great conversation starters and I can't get to the Makers Faire this year to get more...

I was being a bit sarcastic about the 3D logo. No flyer in their right mind would put it on a plane or heli. Bad for aerodynamics. Wish we could have a Maker Faire in Montreal, some time soon. Of course we'd have to call it something else, since "Maker" will not pass the language police here.

They need to be red, with a flame somewhere. You also need a guy posing as a fake test pilot with a snazzy name based on Scott Crossfield, doing new product friday videos.
