New modules for the RF Explorer ( 2.4 GHz and 240-960 MHz )


Following my previous entry on this blog about the RF Explorer , I just want you to know that two new modules are out for this handheld frequency analyzer.

RFEM2.4G module

  • Frequency band coverage: 2400-2484 MHz
  • Standard SMA 50 ohms connector, a matching antenna is included
  • Amplitude resolution: 0.5dBm
  • Dynamic range: -105dBm to -15dBm
  • Absolute Max input power: +5dBm
  • Average noise level (typical): -105dBm
  • RF Generator amplitude: -30dBm to +1dBm
  • Frequency stability and accuracy (typical): +-10ppm
  • Amplitude stability and accuracy (typical): +-3dBm
  • Frequency resolution: 1Khz
  • Resolution bandwidth (RBW): automatic 58Khz to 812Khz

RFEMWSUB1G Module

  • Frequency band coverage: 240-960 MHz
  • Standard SMA 50 ohms connector
  • Amplitude resolution: 0.5dBm
  • Dynamic range: -115dBm to 0dBm
  • Absolute Max input power: +5dBm
  • Average noise floor level (typical): -110dBm
  • 50 ohms wideband Nagoya NA-773 telescopic antenna included
  • Frequency stability and accuracy (typical): +-10ppm
  • Amplitude stability and accuracy (typical): +-3dBm
  • Frequency Span: 100MHz
  • Frequency resolution: 1Khz
  • Resolution bandwidth (RBW): automatic 3KHz to 600KHz

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
