Just a hint of what's to come. You'll need to use PLA, not ABS plastic, and it's a challenging print, but just imagine what will be possible as 3D printing technology improves. The design files are here.

That's cool, but I could make a better one with lighter materials, and using my hands a ruler and exacto knife.

Nice.  I'm going to suggest to him that maybe he should print the frame/skeleton, and cover the large surfaces with paper.  That would make it lighter, and easier to print.

Great in the next day i try with my MultiMaker32 ( my branch of reprap prusa) to print it and try to fly it with my kids :)

It really does work!  Had a bit of a problem with raft adhesion on the right wing (an artifact of my bed not being entirely level), but that will be moot on the next run. Really could print raftless...

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
