Quadcopter simulation on AeroFly Professional Deluxe

Here, you will find the model of my Quad Rotor Observer (QRO) v5 for the AeroFly Professional Deluxe simulator

(AFPD).
This is very useful for training purposes during outside bad weather conditions and/or during our cold winter...

The QRO v5 quadcopter model for AFPD can be dowloaded HERE

Tested successfully on Aerofly Professional Deluxe v1.9.7.11

How do you design a model that you want and simulate it in Aerofly??? What program do you use?

Thanks

The QRO model for AFPD have been design with a 3D CAD software "MetasequoiaLE" wich is a freeware, that you will find HERE.

Then, you need to get a personnal licence from IPACS to get the rights to convert your model for Aerofly Professional Deluxe (AFPD). I hope that I have answered to your question.

This model is great, it is helping already.  The only problem is that the model is in + mode and my quad is set for X mode, any chance of getting you to create a quad in an X mode?  Two yellow front arms would be preferred but red will do.  I am not picky - just hoping you can do it so that the simulation is closer to the real thing.

For the life of me I can not get it to load, I have AFPD 1.8.6, I'm guessing its not compatible darn I was really hoping to get in some flight experience for when my quads done

I have a MAC on 10.7 but when I click to open, I get an "error it quit unexpectedly. Do you want to retry" and it goes on & on from there.

Any suggestions?
