Quadrotor balancing a weighted stick
Markus Hehn and Raffaello D’Andrea at the Institute of Dynamic System and Control at ETH Zurich have another great demo. Before you try this at home, remember that it uses a $400,000 motion capture system and only works in this box, where the cameras can see it.

its so impressive that you start to wonder if they use the $400,000 motion capture system for controlling the quad or for faking it in the video.... hehehe..
Are we going to see some spin-offs from this with position beacons???
