Yes, there are certainly important sensitivities around data collection. This explains why I worked with the UN, Red Cross, World Bank, USAID and others to create a Humanitarian Drones Code of Conduct, which includes guidelines on data protection. The latter was primarily written by the International Committee of the Red Cross and the American Red Cross. More on that here:

The Code of Conduct was updated again this year, but I don't want to suggest it is perfect. It isn't. So I very much welcome feedback from the DIYdrones community so we can improve the document further.
Thanks again, Pascal, and sorry to hear about the train tragedy. Working in the humanitarian space is not easy (understatement). I'm still traumatized by the 2010 Haiti earthquake.
Very good video Patrick. But I had a recent sad experience with local authorities about drone survey in catastrophic event. Railway accident in Africa, probably more than 100-150 killed (officials say 80). Drones are not allowed very easily where officials are touchy about sensitive information.
