On this episode of MyGeekShow we tested a new airspeed sensor we installed on the Shrike. It allowed us to get our first cruise airspeed, max airspeed, and stall speed. Very cool!

See you Saturday!

HI Trent,

One thing I'd suggest is you post telemetry logs (tlog) along with your flight videos. That would allow people to offer tuning suggestions.

For example, it's quite common that you need to adjust the airspeed calibration. The default value is a reasonable average, but from a flight log you can work out the correct value for your sensor and airframe. A tlog allows you to work out the right value.

Cheers, Tridge

Great idea! I'll look into sharing it.

This is great guys!  keep on going forward.  One question... what happend to the OSD?  That would give you some redundency? ... anyway keep up the good work. Love your show.

Eagle: OSD is delayed as the MinimOSD has a different MavLink version than the APM2... and I don't want to spend the $$$ for the FTDI cable, yet :)

I think I've got a good replacement on the way though :) You'll see it in a few weeks!
