VR PAD Station 2.0 available for beta testing on APM , PIXHAWK and VRBRAIN .

Today i create a Google Community Group for manage the beta testing of VR Pad Station this is the link :

We upload the last revision of VR radio RC . The new name is VR PAD Station 2.0 . We integrated the mavlink 1.0 telemetry function with original Virtual RC project so now is possible to use VR PAD Station as tools for :

Receive telemetry from drone.
Setting Parameter .
Change Flight Mode.
Set waypoint.
Send direct command as Return to Landing point , Land or Guided mode.
Virtual Remote control with a lot of advanced feature for setup the radio stick

We are work in progress with some advanced feature as Special Follow me mode , Fligh log book and VR Gimbal integration.

The App is compatible with APM Copter , Plane and Rover.

Inside the community could be possible discuss directly with developer about the new request feature .

After join the community could be possible download the APK in a special section of google play

The VR Pad Station it's a framework of advanced opensource tools and library from different source :

the mavlink comunication library and it's original user interface is a fork of great work doing by Arthur Benemann and his team in rev 1.0 of droidplanner .

The library used from video decoding is a wrapping library from : opensource VLC project.

The GPL code modify and improve by our Team will be release in the next days at this address :

I am trying to get to the bottom of a couple of posts that were deleted from this thread. The first was a message from Arthur and the second is the response from Roberto. I have a copy of the notification of Roberto's response but not Arthur's original message. It is very bad form to be deleting posts. What follows is Roberto's response. If anybody has a copy of the notification of Arthur's post I would appreciate you emailing it to me.

the code will be available as opensource when we finish to prepare the code on git , as other project : VR Brain and VRGimbal , there are inside a lot of module write by scratch by our team , We are using mavlink protocol but optimize it to improve the quality of comunication.

We are working to an API for recall the code from 3th part developer an approch not yet available in other application . The main reason because we are working on this project is because we intend optimize the integration with our platform as VR Brain and VR Gimbal but continue to support also APM and Pixhawke platform.

Sorry is not yet available GIT but it will be in some days .

You are right , only owner and mods can delete the comment.

I am with you and Gary. I do not approve of such behavior where critical comments are deleted unless they are in violation of TOS or use abusive language. It is just matter of time before we catch the rogue. :(

I Check in the my email notification and no other post are delete from this blog post ... could be nice to understand who and why delete this post ... for me is not a problem the comment from Arthur infact i contact Arthur and speak about the GPL Code that will be release and also add in the blogs the credits to other library that is inside our code ....

No problem, just take care to give credit (for the android app) to the DroidPlanner developers next time. Also when public announcing a release you should release the code with it.

I'm in no way against forks of the code, I just want everyone to benefit from it.
