Adam, Adele, Caey, and myself spent the weekend capturing the North Fork Championship kayak event on the North Fork of the Payette in Idaho. We brought along 2 Cinestar 6's, a Cinestar 8 with the new stabilization system on the 360 gimbal, a Hexa XL and a crawler truck. Cameras used were the Pansonic GH2, Sony CX760, Sony FS100, and GoPro Hero 2.

That's a pretty good video!
Comment by Jonathan M on July 7, 2012 at 7:19pm Wow, your flying and filming skills continue to impress, Jeff! Was the majority of the aerial shots filmed with a particular rig, or was it a mix of all the gear you have listed above? You make them work so seemlessly together. I was trying to find if I could see the new CS stabilization system in action or the CX760. Good editing skills to boot :)
Comment by Jeff Scholl on July 9, 2012 at 7:00pm I would say 65% were from the Cinestar 8 and the FS100. However you can't beat the CS760's BOSS when the wind picks up.
Here is the final edit:

Comment by Scott Avey on November 20, 2012 at 12:55pm Hi Jeff,
I'm trying to find out info about running an APM on a Cinestar. I talked with one of the guys from quadrocopter.com, but he wasn't familiar with the APM. Seeing as you posted this on the DIY drones, site, I wondered if you could speak on the topic: do you know anyone who is using an APM on a cinestar? How do they fly.
Thanks,
Scott
