This is a demo of my wireless telemetry link from the PicPilot to a PC, using XBee modules. The Python script has been modified to "command" PicPilot to start sending DCM data at 10 pps.

Nice job Andy! Looks great. Looks like the GPS wasn't plugged in? Is that working? What GPS receiver did you end up going with?

The GPS is a GlobalSat EM-406A from Sparkfun. Yes, the gps was unplugged. I've powered it up and it receives just fine on my desk inside the house! Probably the most sensitive gps I've ever worked with. It stays unplugged to minimize battery draw when not needed and that means more time on the task at hand. It will stay unplugged until the USB interrupt-driven routines are in place, then I'll add some telemetry to downlink the raw gps data.

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
