4 stepper motors for movement
Extruder with hotend and one more stepper motor

You are able to use 3 motors for movement - each for one axis. Just like in other routers and mills."

Marooned commented on Marooned's blog post Configure LEDs and beeper in Mission Planner
"Hi Andrew

As I stated above, this change is pretty old, was never pulled by main devs and now it's just extremely obsolete. I believe that most of the code is useless for the current codebase. I did not followed ArduPilot changes for a long while…"

Marooned commented on AKRCGUY's blog post Another Noob pilot wrecking it for the rest of us...
"Aside from the main thread.
I am amazed how strong that Phantom is! The guy hits buildings a few times (hard to count as the footage is cut) and copter is still flying like nothing happened! huh"

Marooned commented on Scott Berfield's blog post Adding External LED Indicators and a Piezo Beeper for Arm and GPS Status
"You can join multiple AMC7135 - each giving 350mA. They are not for 12V but LED is current-driven so if you have 10W/12V LED that means 0,83A for it. You could use two AMC or three with PWM driving to cut the current below maximal for that…"

Marooned commented on Marooned's blog post Configure LEDs and beeper in Mission Planner
"This requires changes in Mission Planner but also in Ardu* code and since the time of my patch a lot has changed. New abstraction layer, move from Google to Git.. I assume most of the code should be write from scratch.

As a few days ago I finally…"

Marooned replied to Daniel Estes's discussion How to - Beep when Arming and Disarming Ardupilot Mega 2.5+ in ArduCopter User Group
"This was my attempt: http://diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/configure-leds-and-beeper-in-mi...
but it was not put in main branch and now is quite outdated. It worked great for me. You could alter the code in similar way and compile your version."

Marooned replied to Anthony Bolgar's discussion Dead USB port on APM 2.0 board in ArduCopter User Group
"Is the board powered when you plug USB cable? If so I have the same issue for a long time. Try to move a little bit the cable. Mine is working for some positions and is not for others. I assume microUSB is not a robust port after all."
